Recognized Front-End-Budgeted Organizations
In order to become an FEB organization, a club must be recognized and in good standing with Student Activities and Involvement for the previous 12 months. The group must attend the meeting of the SGA finance committee held 2 weeks before Thanksgiving and give a presentation showing it meets the following criteria:
- 1. The group is so important that it must be budgeted on the front end versus contingency or program grants.
- 2. There is no current formal form of funding for the group through a university department or national organization.
- 3. The group appropriately uses its funding.
- 4. No duplicate services are provided on campus through another Front-End Budgeted group or university department.
- 5. Continual fundraising would keep the group from fulfilling its mission.
- 6. The group has been a Student Activities and Involvement recognized club in good standing for the previous 12 months.
*FEB status is renewed in the fall of even numbered years. For more information contact the SGA Executive Treasurer, Abby Ware.
